Jonathon's golden passed away 2 week before his own death at the foot of his bed!

Jonathon & I have loved dogs all our lives!
Our 1st dog was Shotzie at 4 & 3.

My love affair with "Hounds" started 30 plus years ago with my first hound, Thaya {Afghan} a gift from my brother Jonathon.
I named her after my good childhood friend Thaya Constentine. I was hooked on hounds, after that!
I rescued Afghans dropped off in the Hollywood Hills in the 70's, and fell in love with the breed.
I married Jordan in 1980's and he got me my 1st Borzoi!
Then I went sight hound crazy.
I rescued my 1st Dachshund a little later in the 80's, Joshua from the busy streets of Beverly Hills.
I could not find his owner, and I was gone for life to the hounds with Josh my 1st dachshund love!
{sight & scent were for me 100 %} As you can see now Josh changed my life!
As I say because of Josh I became the Dachshund Girl! I "live & sleep" Dachshunds!
Sadly Josh was not very well breed, & despite me keeping his weight down Josh had IVDD.
over 4,000 dollars later in back surgery he did not make it, I was heartbroken.
I spent the next 2 years researching the breed and found Sharon Ranck.
[At that time in Southern California, now in West Virgina]
To this day Sharon Ranck is the smartest, kindest, and most honest breeder I have ever met.
I work at being a breeder she can be happy to have started.

At HeavenlyHund we show our hounds in conformation and obedience.
However what we first and foremost strive for is longevity of life,
"Great" disposition, and a lifetime loved family member.
At HeavenlyHund we are breeders with the heart of pet owners.
So we can keep growing as a breeder that shows and produces top winning dachshunds in temperament, longevity of life, & the breed standard, some of our females live in their own forever homes showing and breeding for HeavenlyHund, so none of our hounds has to grow up in a kennel enviromment without a forever family.
We feel this allows all our dachshunds to have a quality of life, and a forever home from the start.
